# Mystic Fig becomes a Doctrine seasonal

Doctrine has brought its 2.5% fig-leaf milk stout back as a seasonal beer after its 2023 festival debut.

## Issued by

Doctrine Brewing · 3 July 2026

## Release brief

Doctrine Brewing has moved Mystic Fig beyond its original once-off festival release and into the brewery’s seasonal range.

The 2.5% milk stout uses roasted fig leaves for toasted nuttiness alongside coffee, vanilla, dark fruit and toffee.

Doctrine published the beer as pouring at 1000 Hills Chef School from 4 July. Current tap availability should be confirmed before travelling.

> “This year we decided it was time to take it beyond a once-off release and let it become a true seasonal.”\n>\n> — Doctrine Brewing
