Lucy Corne is a Cape Town-based beer and travel writer, educator, international beer judge and the voice behind The Brewmistress. She was the first person in Africa to qualify as a Certified Cicerone and later became the continent’s first Advanced Cicerone.
She co-founded the African Beer Cup and serves as its competition director, is a partner and organiser at BeerEx Africa, and runs South African National Beer Day. Her work connects beer education, independent publishing, industry events and the breweries of Africa.
