# Privacy

CraftBeer.co.za keeps account details private and uses limited first-party data to understand public journeys.

- Two 30-day first-party cookies contain only the prior CraftBeer.co.za page path and whether the browser has visited before.
- Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control prevents journey cookie creation and public interaction facts.
- Reports contain aggregate page paths, transitions and touchpoint counts, with no IP address, user agent, session ID or persistent visitor identity.
- Brewery follows and private Favourite lists are attached to the signed-in account. A list is public only when its owner explicitly shares it.
- The Beer finder counts distinct accounts for Favourite popularity without exposing who saved a beer.
- The Surprise me cookie stores only the last 12 suggested Beer IDs and no search words.
